This course is specifically designed for those stepping in to manage a WordPress website with limited or no experience with the worlds most popular website content management system. You can access the self-hosted version of WordPress to get you started by visiting WordPress.org.  This latest version provides opportunities for you to get creative and learn in conjunction with our course material.

You don’t need to code or learn how to code in this course, it uses all the basic WordPress functions that allow business owners to get on with doing business, content editors and publishers to get on with producing content for your audience.

This is NOT a ‘Build or Design a WordPress Website’ course – its focus is the day-to-day managing your website pages and news/blog posts with associated content such as images, video and layout requirements.

The lesson modules are all short videos delivered by Jason Hawkins, a WordPress and digital professional for over 20 years. He started working with WordPress in version 1.0, building several hundred WordPress sites for happy clients all over the world through his digital agency KND Digital.

  • This is an entry level course but there is an assumption that you have a WordPress website up and running that you can work on.
  • If you are totally new to WordPress you can:
    • setup a FREE site at WordPress.com (with basic functionality);
    • DIY a WordPress install and purchase a prebuilt theme; or
    • get a website professionally designed and built with a development firm.
